Water tank only heating on override

by photosynthesize » Wed Oct 21, 2020 11:11 am

Hello

I don't have central heating but I do have a hot water tank, which is set to heat up every day at noon. In the last week or so it hasn't been doing this, but if I use the temporary override it works fine.

The time of day is correct on the clock and the pins are present and in place. Any suggestions?

Thank you.

Hi photosynthise
Sound like you have a 2 immersion tank and the main bottom immersion has failed. If this is the case replacement is your only option.

Urgh. Nightmare. Does that mean replacing the entire tank?
