Hello guys, this is the second of two queries relating to damp problems in a two-up-two-down.
Given the problems on the street, we had a very good plasterer tank the outside walls of the downstairs area with Kingfisher waterproofing before plastering. It has generally worked well except that there are now small damp areas right of the front door and either side of the window.
These are very localized and it looks like the tanking has given way at those spots.
We're aiming to strip the plaster and patch the tanking at those points. Is that a good way to proceed? If so, any tips on patching tanking?
Best, NP
