Hope you can help. The paint in my bathroom ceiling is peeling. I need to take it all off to start again but scraping it isn’t working. What is the best way to remove paint from plaster on a plaster board ceiling.

If the paint will not come off when you use a filler knife (which has a much thinner blade than a scraper) then it’s sound enough to sand and overpaint.
