I am in a strange position where I have two washing machine connection points in my kitchen.
One I am currently using for my machine.
The other I think dates back to an earlier time before the kitchen was upgraded and has hot and cold feeds and a standpipe connection to the outside.
I want to use that space for a tumble dryer and was wondering whether it was good practice to leave the old connection in place and just use caps to blank off the hot and cold feeds.
Or should I employ a plumber to completely remove the unused washing machine connection and waste pipe?
Thanks and I look forward to hearing what people say.
