Fitting a Brita under sink tap filer - Identifying the right adaptor

by Daz123 » Tue Dec 22, 2020 6:19 pm

Hello - was hoping someone could help with (hopefully) a basic question...

Try to self-install a Brita Online Active / mypure A1C, under sink tap filter. The hose connectors (1/2) and adaptors (3/8) that were provided dont seem to fit with the pipes/hose in use currently for the cold mains water feed.

Product:
https://www.brita.co.uk/water-filter-sy ... mypure-a1c

Instruction Manual
https://www.brita.co.uk/dam/jcr:9677934 ... a1c-EN.pdf

Unfortunately, popping along to the local hardware store isn't really a possibility right now so was hoping to get the right bits I'd need online, if someone could be so kind as to advise what that is...

Have attached pictures. Sorry, realised I should have also maybe done a comparison photo between the supplied ends and what's installed, but hopefully someone more experienced knows whats at play here...

Thanks!
Daz

Hi daz123
Assuming you want all your water supplied through the filter, remove the nut directly above the stop cock, fit the female flexible onto this with a washer between them. Then fit the bits removed onto the male part of the flexible and then reconnect your pipe work using the existing parts.
