Pliolite Coating cracking

by GrahamR » Fri Dec 25, 2020 7:45 pm

Hi, I am looking for help, I recently had a contractor coat my home with pliolite paint and the finish is crazed and cracked, I think they applied the second coat far too quickly ( 2 hrs) as the temperature was below 6C.

They say the crazing has no effect and I think it will let in moisture then freeze and fail before the ten years they say it will last, can anyone help as they want the rest of the payment but I'm holding it back until I get information.

Hi grahamr
It’s probably not good because water will get in the cracks and since the pliolite is not breathable.
Suggest you get hold of the manufacturer and seek their opinion.
Regards S
