Peninsular kitchen units

by Bogart » Tue Jan 05, 2021 9:14 am

Attached are a couple of photos to better show the units concerned. My question revolves around the affixing of said units to the concrete kitchen floor. I have read that one does not need to affix the sheer weight of the setup will be sufficient. On that I am not convinced especially at the end away from the wall plus the gap caused by the dishwasher space. I've thought of a couple of ways of fastening them one being to build a couple of concrete blocks up to just below the cupboard underside and bolt through the base of the cabinet, this looks longwinded and overkill to my mind. Has anyone other suggestions?
Thanks

Hi bogart
Drill a hole through the adjustable feet and screw down into the floor.

Not sure how that would be effective . They are o nly plastic feet and would not take much lateral force to crack them.
