Paint stripping a 1907 door with paint and varnish DIY hints, tips and solutions to the removal and repair of marked and stained areas

Hi

Have wooden doors to strip down.
Original doors so from 1907, mixture of approx 5-7 layers of either eggshell or satin paint. Centre of doors is original varnish which was covered with hardboard in 60/70’s.
Tried the product from Screwfix but this will not move the varnish.

Any ideas.?
