Help please - cannot remove old shower rail/riser Drainage and wastage systems and plumbing help, advice and answers

Can anyone help please? I am trying to remove an old shower rail/riser and cannot work out how the wall brackets can be removed. The top and bottom brackets seem to have a removable plate (or that's what they look like) but neither will budge. Does anyone know how these come off please?

No pictures are attached which makes it difficult but most have a clip-in cover on the front.

Thanks to all who read and the person that replied to this post. Apologies that there were no photos - not sure what happened. Anyway, all resolved. Plastic covers simply pulled off. Thanks again.
