Very dim glow on 10W LED floodlight

by waveydavey » Tue Feb 09, 2021 10:11 am

Just fitted Screwfix 10W LED floodlights (767CC), work fine and dandy. But, when they are off (not activated via PIR) there is a very dim glow from the LED COB unit.

Any advice or suggestions? (It's not a problem, just seems unusual)

Yes, it is most probably induction.
(It is running very close to other cables, it is quite common with LED lamps, even more so with two way switching as used on landings)
The easiest cure is a capacitor across the lamp supply.
