Copper Push Fit Joints Allow Slight Turn? All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

A real basic question sorry - my daughter is doing an DT project and wants to use copper (15mm). I was suggesting push fittings for ease of use, but once pushed in the pipes need to be able to turn a little. Will push fit joints allow this or do they hold the straight pipes tight? Said it was basic!

Most will allow pipe to be rotated until they are pressurised.
