I have replaced the hinges on my doubles glazed windows.
The new hinges work fine but the closing wedges that are attached both to the back of the window and window frame no longer catch correctly and they push the window out.
This is because the arc of the new hinges is wider and the wedges no longer bind and pull the window into the frame.
Does anyone have a solution to this? I am sure it must be a common problem. I have bought new wedges of a slightly different design to see if this solved the problem, but they are exactly the same.
