Looking for ideas , I’ve recently bought a new house and there’s two alcoves either side of the fire place that I don’t really like but I’m not sure what to do with them , preferably I’d want to rip them out but don’t know what to replace them with , the fireplace wall is no longer white but is grey and ideas would be helpful , also I’m 21 so not looking for anything to old fashioned
