Hi,
We had some damage to the wall under the window of our Victorian house. I knocked out a mixture of brick, cement, rubble and cement to the current state in the picture.
My plan is to use shuttering and pour cement to rebuild this part of the wall. The area to be filled is 180cm long x 6cm deep and 25cm high.
Will this be ok to just cement or should I be also putting in some sort of bar or mesh to help support it? Also what sort of mix of sand cement would you suggest?
I will be leaving around 1cm to allow for plastering to finish along the front of the wall.
Any advice would be greatly appreciated, thanks in advance!
