Crumbling Retaining Garden Wall - advice needed!

by LC-888 » Sun Mar 21, 2021 8:58 am

Hi
We are in the process of removing old render from our retaining garden wall.

After removing the render from a high part of the wall it has crumbled away. Please see pictures. We have no idea on how to fix this it would be great if someone can advise.

The wall is holding back a raised foot path outside our property.

Thank you.

Hi lc-888
It looks like the rendering facing the retaining wall has deteriorated, the cheapest option would be to cut back to sound concrete and re-render the wall.
Regards S
