We have an Electrolux ESL4200LO dishwasher that has just started acting up.
The cycle was not completing and the dishwasher would constantly run, an intermittent clicking noise was coming from the bottom (behind the metal protection plate) of the dishwasher a bit like a relay or solenoid trying to activate. The dishwasher was still getting hot so I didn’t think it was the heating element, I replaced the turbidity sensor the other week and that seemed to fix it running ok on a 40 degree eco cycle and completing. But now the original problem of the cycle being unable to complete and the clicking noise has started again. Do you think it could be the pressure switch and how easy are they to replace?
The dishwasher is only 3 years old and is in good nick so I would really like to fix it, and would not like the bill for a new one. Any ideas?
Any thoughts would be appreciated.
