by martin2007 » Wed Sep 12, 2007 12:57 pm

Could someone please let me know the reason why my WC Cistern does not fill back up with water when the flush buton is pressed? Could you let me know what i need to do to repair this?

Thanks

hi martin2007,
A little more detail maybe needed, does it sound like it's trying to fill or no water noise at all? sometimes the float jams or gets trapped depending what mechanism it is, it could be that! Just check inside to see if anythings stopping the float from rising.

hi kbrownie

sorry about late reply. The cisten sounds as if it is trying to fill with water and the float does not appear to be jammed so i am not quite sure what the problem is?
