Hi, I am having a wetroom installed on the ground floor of my property with a shower, basin and toilet. The toilet backs onto a wall where directly underneath a manhole sits, so we are directly dropping the toilet waste into this manhole as well as the basin and shower waste which will connect into the 4" toilet stack that will drop into the manhole.
I do not have a vent at this side of the house so was wondering whether I need a durgo valve? The manhole already serves the other toilets of the house, which are properly vented.
We really don't like the freestanding pipe at the side of the loo, which I have been told is a solution to my lack of a vent, using this duro valve.
So if anyone can kindly advise whether I need a durgo valve in this scenario and what would be the best solution?
Thank you so much
Sam
