I’m so confused having a bit of a nightmare, I should never of tried to plan a bath during covid, being a girly struggling to get round this plumbing.
redoing bathroom and really didn’t fancy bath taps, the plan was a 3 valve with single diverted to do the bath shower head and handset at seperate times they work
Was going to have a rain head handset and fill bath with bath filler
All pipe work will be in a cupboard next to the boiler a ideal logic 30.
I’m now reading that the overflow filler will take forever to fill a bath, will the bath be cold by the time the bath fills, as it would just work from a single outlet from shower valve believe 15mm my oldest kids have a habit of turning bath on then get distracted being on the phone.
The new bath in question is a carronite 1700x800
I’m thinking if shower valves thermostat fails I won’t have any hot water even if boiler ok, or have I got that wrong
Would I be better in getting a wall mounted tap but would that provide the same flow rate at the overflow filler
I’m trying to house all pipework in cupboard as plan to tile bath panel
Am I heading for huge problems working everything through the 3 way shower valve,
The bath used to fill up with bristain 1901 mixer taps not sure if flow rate from that.
