Is there a way to create a continuous waterproof join between 2 pieces of metal flashing (galvanized steel)? The flashing has to seal a flat/horizontal space of 140 mm. I'm struggling to find a reasonably priced/availble custom flashing solution, I found a company in devon that can make the part I need but they want £300 + VAT to ship 2 small panels. As you can tell from the question I know zero about welding/brazing. This is for a small section of 3.7m length for a garden building, it doesn't need to pretty pretty it just needs to work...
