Advice on flooring level after removing ceramic tiles in bathroom

by db3058 » Tue Jun 15, 2021 10:17 am

Hi, lifted ceramic tiles from
A small bathroom, can see grey adhesive mostly in swirl shapes, and some floorboard when the grey had been lifted with ties.
Am I ok to lay underlay then vinyl click flooring ? or need to get rid of the grey stuff which is set like concrete and will be time consuming.
Thanks in advance
Dylan

Hi db3058
If the floor is flat put underlay straight on it, if it’s uneven apply a layer of self levelling compound to give you a flat surface.
