Moving a toilet and rotating waste pipe to new position?

by aldolou » Sun Jul 18, 2021 12:31 pm

Hi,

Appreciate there are lots of posts on here about moving toilet but just looking for some simple advice.

I have attached a picture of the current toilet into the waste. Unseen, as it is boxed in, is the vent pipe that runs off this and out through the roof.

Am I in a position to rotate the waste pipe (that goes into the back of the toilet) 90' anti clockwise and run a 600mm extension of it to move the toilet over? The soil pipe is 4"?

Any simple layman's advice would be appreciated.

Thanks in advance.

Hi aldolou
No 110mm pipe will not fit in the bend. You will have to buy a 110mm 90deg bend to fit into the pipe sticking out of the floor, do not buy a swept bend because it will make the pipe too high.
