We have moved to a property that has had a loft conversion. The cold water storage tank looks to be very high to the pitched roof in the part of the loft not converted. Is it legal to not have much room above the tank? Also we think there is a rising main to the loft area which has been threaded up through the cavity. Is this alright. Not sure when this was all done

Provided there is enough room to replace the ball valve it should not be an issue however the tank should fitted with a lid which complies with wb regulations..
