Hello.
I purchased one of these (https://www.grohe.co.uk/en_gb/thermostatic-bath-shower-mixer-1-2-34718000.html) for my new bathroom and asked my plumber to fit the pipework so that I could fit the shower once I had tiled. For this he left two pipes bent out from the wall with 150mm spacing.
I then tiled the wall, but when I came to fit the shower, it appears that it actually needs a completely different fitting, requiring me to remove some tiles to change the pipework.
I was wondering if anyone had an experience with these showers and if there was any way to fit adapters so that I don't have to remove the tiles?
