Hello!
I'm moving into a house in November that has a detached garage which I'll be turning into a clinic for my physiotherapy business and need to insulate it properly so I'm able to work in there through the winter.
The garage is detached from the house but there is another garage attached to the left hand wall. The space is 2.5m x 5m so a typical 1 car garage which is brick built.
What's the best way to insulate it without sacrificing much width? My plan is to also put an electric heater in there on the wall that will regulate the temperature but again I'm not sure on how to make this work efficiently.
The roof is pitched and will most likely need insulating too to stop heat escaping. Do brick built garages tend to hold heat well on their own or would it just be too cold during winter months?
Any help would be amazing as I'm a bit lost currently on what would be the best approach to not give up too much room internally.
All the best,
Stuart
