Patching up chased walls after electrical work

by Sgriggs » Mon Oct 04, 2021 11:41 am

Hi. We've recently had an electrician come in who's chased out sections of the wall to add cables. The wall that has been chased is plaster onto brick. Therefore the chased section is now back to brick..what is the best product to use to fill in these sections? Thanks

Hi sgriggs
Presumably there is conduit or sheathing in the chased channels. For narrower sections I suggest you use a powder filler, for larger areas use a base plaster, having damped the wall first, then apply a coat of finish plaster.
