Hi all,
First post so be gentle!
I have just bought a new house with a 2 year old Navien combi boiler to which i have just fitted a new controller with OpenTherm. The OpenTherm controller has compensation for external weather conditions and dynamically controls the boilers output. The boiler also has an option for an outdoor temperature sensor. Just wondering if the outdoor temp sensor will give a more accurate compensation control, or is that pointless given that i already have dynamic output control via OpenTherm? Or would one override the other or be constantly battling for dominance?
