Kitchen tap replacement and new taps with flexi hoses

by dal3001 » Tue Oct 19, 2021 3:14 pm

Hi all,

Just a really quick and probably easy one.

I want to replace our leaky kitchen tap and want to make sure I have everything I need before I start. I've watched a few videos and am familiar with the general process. I notice that under our sink, after the shut off valves, there's already some flexy hose that seems to connect to the copper tap tails on the existing tap.

My new tap has flexy hose tap tails already. Will it just be a case of connecting the existing hose attached after the valve to the flexy tap tails of the new tap?

I've attached a picture of the under sink and the new tap.

Thanks

Hi dal3001,
Sadly these things never turn out to be “just a matter”.
Check the flexibles on the new tap will be long enough to reach the connectors.
Regards S
