Multipanel sealant around bath

by harryhog » Mon Oct 18, 2021 9:16 pm

Hi, I will be fitting Multipanel boarding around my bath to ceiling height. I have purchased the appropriate corner and end trims, but the sales person in shop said not to bother with the plastic sealant strip for the bath. She said most people just fit the board against the bath and use sealant between the two.

Do you think just using sealant between the boards an bath is appropriate?

Thanks in advance.

Hi harryhog
I’d agree with the sales person - in time both will deteriorate but it is much easier to cut out and replace a bead of sealant.
