Unwired light now no lights working on entire floor

by Lando21 » Tue Nov 02, 2021 9:08 pm

Hello,

Someone please advise. I removed an old ceiling light by disconnecting it from a 4-way terminal. Now no lights work on the entire floor.

Dont ask how but I realise I have inserted the wiring into the 4-way terminal wrong as when I loosened the screws to free the ceiling light wires they came out from the back too.

Should I remove all the wires from the 4-way terminal to restore my lights? Or do I need to insert them in correct sockets?

Thanks in advance

For clarity, that photo has been rotated 90 degress clockwise for some reason.

There are too many errors for my liking, I advise you get a competent person to test and correct it, since you do not know what you are doing.
