We have had a new fence installed around the perimeter of our garden to make space for a summer house. When people have come to quote on the concrete base we have been told the fence has been installed incorrectly when stepped up and has increased the height which means the concrete base can't be lowered to what we wanted. The fence installers refuses to come back and fix it. Is there any possible solution other than removing the fences/ posts and starting again?

Presumably the ground sloped considerably before ? Did you tell the fencers you needed the ground lowered for a base ? If the ground slopes on both sides of the fence you will need to build a retaining wall to hold the soil back and install the fence on top of the wall.

Hi
The garden was on a slight incline but nothing like what he created. He knew we were going up put in a summer house as he was going to do it but after the shambles with the fence we decided against it. I tried to upload a photo but said size of file was to big.
