Need help on how to insulate a pitched bitumen roof.
I have a cold roof space to a kennel, with wooden roofing trusses and a bitumen corrugated sheeting roof but in winter when it freezes so does the inside of the bitumen (ventilation is plentiful) then it thaws and the water drips onto the insulation and ceilings plasterboard below causing blackening stains internally. I want to install an insulation board and vapour barrier underneath the bitumen panels but in what order i.e Bitumen/Insulation Board/Vapour Barrier or Bitumen/Vapour Barrier/Insulation Board or is there an alternative solution? any help appreciated cheers
