Hi, I’ve got a Ultion thumb lock fitted to my front door.

I don’t have a door handle, it locks when you slam the door shut.

I’ve had complaints from the mother in law about how difficult it is to open and I’m looking for ways to improve this.

I did wonder about a bigger thumblock but I’m struggling to find anything suitable

Can I ask for your advice thanks

Thumb locks all tend to be about the same size, if it is difficult to turn using the thumb knob it must also be difficult to turn using the key. Suggest you lubricate the mechanism and the multipoint locking mechanism if one is present. Failing this you could look at an electric lock which has a proper know]b handle.
