Can anyone tell me if there are any advantages compared to a Y plan, looking for most economical system.
Is it an "all the floors up" job to switch to a combi boiler ?
And what is a reasonable price to pay for a combi and fitting ?
Hey daddy, ive recently just had a combi bolier fitting and cost £800 approx for a new bolier from the plumb centre. Bought this as a heat pack, so the boiler 7 new rads all thermostats and flue. Great deal as i resold the radiators and valves for £400. It cost me £750 for a plumber to fit over 2 days of so. Best advice on buying a new bolier is get oone which is cheap to get parts for and is quite common. We found by fittin a new combi the gas bill ha sgone down. Good luck let me know how you get on.
