Heat only valiant ecotec boiler and unvented cylinder

by zaceverett » Tue Jan 25, 2022 8:02 am

Currently I have a valiant ecotec heat only boiler and a vented system with rads upstairs and ufh down. I would like to remove the hot water tank from the bathroom to free up space and possibly fit ufh upstairs.

Is it possible to replace vented tank with an unvented horizontal tank in the loft maximising living space but can I keep the existing vailant heat only boiler?

Any advice suggestions, appreciated.

Hi zaceverett,
You could fit either a vented or unvented cylinder in the loft and keep your existing boiler.
