Garden bar leaning forward

by bconnol » Sun Mar 20, 2022 10:45 am

Hello!

I have a fairly cheap bar in my garden and since last year, the door has dropped, looks like the bar is leaning forward a few centimetres. When I push the the bar, I can make it straight, aligning the door correctly. I have a sturdy fence behind it and was hoping for some advice on how to straighten the bar up by securing it to the fence or use wedges or any other method. Please see the pictures.

Hi bconnol,
To correct this problem you will have to fit internal diagonal braces - get the bar upright then screw the braces into the frame members.
