Will Rockwool under floor boards, help to warm my room? Information, help, tips and advice on cavity walls, ceilings and lofts etc....

Trying to make my room warmer. I have space underneath to put Rockwool under my floor boards. Is this a good idea? Will it cause damp or anything?

Hi caftan,
If you have carpeted floors I doubt you will notice any difference by insulating under the floor. I would recommend you use celotex because it’s rigid Provided the space under the floor is ventilated you should not get condensation issues.
