Hi all,
My utility room gets very mouldy each winter. It is not part of the main house, it's a small extension, it has a couple of airbricks and it's unheated. I think the reason it's got such a bad problem with mould each year is that the floor is beneath the damp course of the house (you step down into the room).
I was wondering, do you think I might be able to solve the problem if I paint the concrete floor with with liquid damp course, plus the sides up to the damp course on the house itself?
