Hi there can anyone suggest what tools I need to plaster over the artex in my kitchen please? Any guidance would be much appreciated.

Hi bduff,
Artexing is frequently done to conceal joint cracks, it's probably better to overboard the ceiling staggering any joints.

It's just the walls I want to cover. The ceiling will just be getting a coat of emulsion.

Hi bduff.
In that case you will need a bucket, wisk to go in a drill, float for plastering, a hawk and a brush to apply adhesion agent or waterproof pva. I've assumed you will use conventional gypsum plaster.
