Recenlty got the flashing and some repointing done around my chimney on the roof. im no pro but the workmanship does not look very good to me. Can someone with a trained eye please tell me what they can see here.
Hi joeradd Flashing looks ok and it appears that soakers are fitted underneath the flashing. Repointing of the ridge looks like a butter spread job on top of the existing mortar - you’ll know if it is because within a few years the butter will start breaking off and sliding down the roof.
