External Kitchen Wall needs temporary attention for winter

Post by TheKitchenWall » Thu Jul 21, 2022 8:56 am

Hello Forum,

I've an external kitchen wall that is showing signs of age.

The render is starting to 'crater' with weathering/damp.

I am on a very tight budget - like a lot of folk - with around £50 to spare.

I want a solution to last me this winter.

Please can the forum offer any sensible advise?

A picture of the situation is attached to this post.

Thanks in advance,

J

Hi thekitchenwall,
Bearing in mind your budget, possibly the best solution will be to scrape off loose material and paint the wall with masonry paint. The will reduce any further water ingress.
