Single pitched roof : cracked bricks at top - self repair question

by aldy_io » Mon Aug 22, 2022 12:18 pm

I have a single pitched roof with crumbling cement at the top (see pics). I am guessing I can just scrape out all the cement, replace it and job's done. I could fix the broken on with a bit of cement (or should I replace?)

I have no leaks.

Hi aldy_io,
You could cut off mortar and form a new fillet but it would be better to remove the ridges, clean the tiles and ridges then Renee them on fresh mortar.
Regards S
