Dodgy drainpipes and shower with insufficient drainage

by Mumofboys » Tue Aug 23, 2022 9:28 pm

We've just had loo, sink & shower fitted in utility. Soil pipe has been connected above ground, to rainwater drain & cemented in. Shower doesn't appear to have sufficient drainage.
Will this cause flooding in our yard when it rains?

Hi mumofboys,
You picture does not show the waste from the shower unless it's the open pipe above the soil pipe end. If it is, yes you may get flooding during heavy rain plus shower usage.
If you are on a combined foul water/rain water waste system, what has been installed may be ok. Do check.
Regards S
