Relace hot water tap washer.

Hi Everyone, Need to change washer on hot water tap, have a combi system, so no tank to drain, how do I Isolate the tap from the boiler to complete the job. Many Thank's. :cry:

Hi Rockavon,
If you have a service valve under tap, turn this off. Turn on tap to make sure it has worked and change washer. If no service valve fitted, turn off boiler at spur so no H/W C/H can be used. Turn off stop cock in house, open up and down hot taps to drain pipes. Change washer. Turn taps almost off and turn on stop cock. When water coming from both taps turn off taps. Turn on boiler and check hot tap, job done.
