Ditching gas and going electric

by pedro47 » Fri Sep 09, 2022 12:46 pm

I am about to change from gas central heating to electric.
Am I allowed to turn off the gas at the cut off before the meter and then remove my old gas boiler since there is no continued gas connectivity. I will then get my utility provider to remove their meter and cap the supply.

Hi pedro47,
Anything to do with modifying gas pipe work should be done by a Gassafe person. Suggest you get the meter removed and supply capped before you start.
