Hi, I'm planning to move the washing machine to an en-suite where it will be close to a basin. So I'd like to get some advice on how to install water outlet and drainage. There's not that much room under the basin.
So I was wandering what would be the best fitting to install for cold water, whether a speedfit (but as you can see there's just a short end of the palstic pipe sticking out of the wall), or tee valve connected to the copper pipe above (but I doubt if I could do it there as it seems really cramped), or third option, if there was plastic tee valve I could place instead of the piece that is between right-angled grey part and white pipe. These are the dimensions of the grey middle part:
And what would be the best solution for water drainage? Should I replace the whole trap which would include drainage (at the minute, there's someting like this: https://www.screwfix.com/p/mcalpine-anti-syphon-bottle-trap-white-32mm/37314)? Or should I just cut the waste pipe and add an appliance trap like this one https://www.screwfix.com/p/floplast-appliance-trap-adaptor-white-40mm/11180 (but how would I connect it if there's no thread)?
Any addvice is very appriaceted and if you could recommend a specific product/part I could install, that would be fab. Thank you very much :-)
