Hi there, I'm an enthusiastic DIYer

I've watched a few videos on repairing a flat roof. I'm thinking of doing it myself and using this.

cromar-hydrosil-prograde-liquid-100-silicone-roof-coating. Doesn't seem to require a primer I can just pour and roll.

I think there are a few areas that have been patched up with acropol. I think that's what it's called. The stuff that these people come around with unscrupulous roofers to paint on your roof. Now it seems it won't stick to this. How best should I proceed? Am I better trying to remove it or covering it ?

Hi isaac1009,
The cromar looks quite expensive, why not use acropol so you may avoid adhesion issues.
