Hi, looking for advice as recently moved in to new home and we are sorting out carpeting the bedroom (currently floorboards). I notice there is a gap of between floorboard and skirting. What is the best way to fill this gap, or would carpet and underlay cover it?

Hi sambojim,
Expanding foam would be best but you could use soaked newspaper and force this in place using a scraper.
