Hello, I was wondering if anyone can help identify the cause of some damp that we have found renovating our ex 1960 council house. The damp is in one corner and the corner into the adjacent downstairs toilet. And also in the hallway there is a long strip of damp. My hunch is the hole in the corner of the floor or the concrete on the outside where the door has been previously widened maybe the culprit for the corner damp. Also the shower is directly above (wet room). The strip of damp I'm not sure, possibly where the old fireplace is (it's about centre right of the damp strip).
