Loud Noise after flush after bidet sprayer installed on downstairs toilet All aspects of plumbing questions and answers, help, tips and information

Hi all,

I have just had a bidet sprayer installed by a plumber on a downstairs toilet and
after he installed it there is a very loud noise that carries on for a while after you flush the toilet.
Secondly there is a leak coming from the from the small pipe to the side of the toilet near the floor which was not there before he installed the bidet sprayer. What could be causing the noise after the flush? Secondly is the leak connected to the loud noise or are they two separate problems.

Hi jogey,
Go to the welcome section of this site and scroll down to "adding images" for help.
The noise will undoubtly be from the main water flowing in the new pipe work for the bidet sprayer.
Get the installer back to sort this and the leak near the floor.
